Kool-Aid Dyed Sock Yarn

Another entry for celebrating Socktober Fest, my first attempt at dying yarn! It isn't going to give STR a run for their money but I really like it and it was so much fun to do. It's really hard to get a true color photo, the greens just don't want to show up. The rest is fairly accurate, but the greens are light pistachio to a light olive.

Check out more photos of my sock yarn by clicking on the Flickr photo box on the right side of this blog.

Wow, your Kool-Aid dyed yarn is absolutely gorgeous. One of these days I'm going to have to give that a try myself. I am so jealous!!

Your socks are all really lovely as well. I've yet to do a pair of feather-n-fan, but I've been eye-balling them for some time. I'm sure I'll give them a go one day.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving such a lovely comment.

Have a great day,
Sandie :)

Great job on the dyeing of the yarn! Does it smell like KoolAde? I want to dye with koolade - but haven't figured it out yet.
Great socks too!
