problems with picot edge

STR toe up with attempted picot bind off, unfortuanatly it folds down. I wanted to have just a plain stockinette sock with a picot edge. I found some instructions for a picot bind off from Knitty. I really don't want to put ribbing on the top to stop the fold because I think it won't look very good. I did recieve a suggestion for moss stitch at the top which I think I'm going to try.
